Annual 48hrs of Tri-State
Benefit Run 2005

Route Map File For Delorme Street Atlas File Here.

Vital Information:

When: Jan 6-9, 2005
Where: NJ->PA->NY->CT
Who: Anyone who loves to drive
What: 1000+ miles of roads, touring the entire Tri-state area.  This is a fun and friendly drive and bonding with other Subaru Enthusiasts throughout the Tri-state Area.  We've been doing this Annual run for 4 years straight and this year should prove to be no different.  Bring your friends, bring your relatives, bring your enthusiasm, and most importantly, BRING YOUR SENSE OF HUMOR!  Over the 3 days the group will cover backroads, traffic, and no doubt have some trying circumstances, but as a group we'll get through it all!

Fund Raising:
We are going to be doing a Drive-a-Thon for Charity.  You get people to sponsor you $X per mile that will be donated to Breast Cancer Awareness. Sponsor Forms
HERE. So this not only will be a fun drive, but it will also raise money for a good cause.  Please try to get as many sponsors as you can.

Update:  Samir contacted The American Cancer Society and they will accept our donations!  So you can have your sponsors make checks payable to "American Cancer Society"

Items to Bring with you!
Spare tire, properly inflated (check PSI)
CB, even "borrow" a hand held one from Radio Shack for the weekend. This is essential, without it the trip will have less of a meaning for yah.
Co-driver/Co-pilot  It's going to be a long drive, if you can bring a co-pilot or a co-driver that would be great.
Sleeping Bag.  May need it @ Motels if we pack in a bunch of people.  Also it's a good idea whenever doing winter driving to have one in case you are stuck on the side of the road overnight.
EZ PASS-  This is essential, last year we got fouled up a few times going through toll booths.

Sponsors:

These businesses have shown their support by donating door prizes and having rest stops for us during the trip.  Please show them your support!
AZP Installs of Long Island, NY and Kenilworth

Other Info:

This year's trip will be a blast as always.  We've shortened it slightly to give us a more leisurely pace and able to spend more time in each city we visit.  Other years due to snow and other items that pop up we were constantly battling the clock, this schedule allows for more sleep and more fun!

E-mail me with any and all questions and I'll gladly answer them for yah
