AZP Policies and Disclaimers:


Warranties:
This is where all the fine print goes about our services and how we conduct our business. We are stand up folks and never would attempt to even have this section, however over the years due to misunderstandings we’ve had to come up with this section so we are all on the same page in terms of our services and products.

All parts are covered under the original manufacturers warranty, which generally covers replacement or repair of the part in question. The end user is responsible for dealing directly with the manufacturer if the part fails or is not to their liking. We do everything in our power to assist the end user by providing documentation and helping them deal with the manufacturers, some manufacturers require the end user to deal with them directly. We unfortunately are not always able to help and the ultimate responsibility lies with the end user.

All services provided are an as-is basis and carry no warranty, neither expressed or implied. All work is conducted on cars for off-road use only and it is the responsibility of the owner to ensure they are in compliance with their local, state and federal laws when operating their vehicles on public roads. Maintenance work is completed following the manufacturer’s specs and does not void your OEM warranty.

Any work completed carries no labor warranty unless specifically noted, parts provided by AZP are warrantied from the manufacturers. Any non-OEM part is considered an off-road part and does not carry any warranty unless specified by the manufacturer of said part.

In the event of an installation issue, it is the vehicle owner’s responsibility to bring the vehicle back to our facility for any diagnostics and repairs. We cannot offer towing services or reimbursement to the vehicle owner.   In addition, if the repair is found to be unrelated to the original repair/installation, all work will be billed at our current hourly rate. If the vehicle owner repairs the vehicle elsewhere, there is no reimbursement or compensation from AZP Installs unless pre-authorized.

Parts Policies:
We do not install used wear surface parts such as but not limited to Clutches, Brake System Components, Sensors, Cooling System Components, Gaskets, and other various wear items. Our experience is that the wearable nature leads to less than stellar performance of used parts and we don’t want to have to charge you the install price a second time when the used brakes or clutch do not work as you would hope for.

When bringing parts to us to install, keep in mind we may refuse to install them based on the brand or the fit/finish of the parts as our name and reputation gets associated with our work, and if we don’t feel comfortable with the parts we don’t want used or less than quality parts tarnishing our reputation. If you do choose to bring parts for us to install, please be aware that we allocate time for your install on our calendar. If your parts don’t fit properly we will be billing you at our hourly shop rate to complete the install. If the parts are the incorrect ones for your car or of poor quality, we will have to charge you 50% of the estimated labor for your install because we allocated the time on our calendar. It is always best to order your parts through us so we can insure that the parts are both quality and proper fitment. While it may cost a little bit extra, it is worth it to have peace of mind for your install. AZP reserves the right to add up to a 15% surcharge on any installation using non-AZP sourced parts.

Any special order parts that we normally do not stock on our shelves require pre-payment in full and are non-refundable and non-returnable.

Estimates & Pricing Policies:
Installation prices listed on our website are a general reference only as are any written quotes. Due to the very variable nature of a used vehicle, the estimated pricing is based on a new car with no issues such as rust, prior damage, striped out bolts, items that may need to be removed to access the part in question etc. Additionally due to the fact that many parts are manufactured overseas and have questionable quality, we can not guarantee the estimated labor costs will be the same if additional time is needed to fit parts of poor quality control to your vehicle. In these cases the client will be billed at our hourly shop rate for all installations.

All estimates and pricing are ESTIMATES ONLY, actual pricing can and will vary based on vehicle age, condition and any other variables that can arise during an installation of automobile components such as but not limited to: rust, additional broken components, components that need to be removed in addition to the original parts, etc. Any price given is not guaranteed to be the final price. If AZP feels that the job cannot be completed to the quality of service that we give to all our clients we retain the right to refuse any and all work.

Liability & Lien Policies:
Clients authorize the repair work hereinafter set forth to be done along with the necessary material and agree that AZP Installs of NJ, Inc or the employees are not responsible for loss or damage to vehicle or articles left in vehicle. In case of fire, theft or any other cause beyond your or the companies control or for any delays caused by unavailability of parts or delays in part shipments by the supplier or transporter. Clients grant AZP Installs of NJ, Inc. and it’s employees permission to operate the vehicle herein described on streets, highways or elsewhere for the purpose of testing and / or inspection. An express mechanic’s lien is hereby acknowledged on any vehicle left for service to secure the amounts to repair thereto. Clients agree that all amounts due shall be paid at the time vehicle is delivered to them and client shall be liable for all costs of collection. Clients agree that their vehicle is properly register and insured for use on public roads in the State of New Jersey and that their insurance is the primary insurance at all times when in our possession or testing on public roads.

Storage of Vehicles and Payment:
Clients agree to pay $45/day storage for their vehicles if they vehicle is not picked up within 3 business day (Mon-Fri) of being notified of completion of work or unless prior arrangements for storage have been made with AZP Installs of NJ, Inc. prior to commencement of work on the vehicle. Payment is due upon completion of work and no vehicle will be released from AZP Installs of NJ, Inc’s possession prior to full payment. We accept cash, checks and most major credit cards.
