We here at AZP have some of the most top notch staff in the industry. I’m happy to consider the staff here not only team members but also family. They work diligently and without malice on every vehicle that we have the pleasure of working on be it an oil change or a complete build out. We treat your vehicle as if it were our own and will not cut corners or return a vehicle to service until we are satisfied with the work product. Some shops will “get it done” or push out product on a price or time restricted schedule, sometimes things will cost more or take longer with us, but we strive to be 100%, 100% of the time and if we don’t hit that we always will make it right afterward. If at any time you feel anyone of our staff isn’t working up to par, please don’t hesitate to contact Mike Paisan so that things can be worked out and made right.
Alex G- Customer Service, Lead Tech & AZP ElderAlex started as a customer back in 2001, he quickly became a fixture at the shop, track days and just about anything involved with AZP. Widely considered the voice of reason and Mike Paisan’s right hand man at AZP you can always bring a problem or issue to him and he will do his best to get it resolved conventionally or unconventionally. He will also likely be the 1st person that you meet at AZP and usually resides in the office to the left as you come in. Crew Chief for the AZP/Team IAC Race team and will go the distance to make sure that our race cars are ready and up to task for anything from an HPDE to a 12 hour endurance race. |
Jon L- TechJon started with AZP in July of 2023 with a background with Honda Dealerships but a passion for Subarus as well as a few other vehicles! You will find him on the 3-7pm shift and Saturdays. He currently drives a GC Generation 2.5RS swapped to a WRX. His stable also includes a Vintage Last Gen Ford Bronco and a Buick Grand National. Jon is our go to guy for getting those motors in and out as well as clutch work! |
Jake S- AZP Elder & Lead Weekend TechJake has been with AZP as it’s first employee for well over 15 years. He probably has forgotten more about Subies than most people will ever know about them. His first project was to do a complete STi conversion of his GD 2.5RS to a 2004 STi, and by complete we mean a frame down conversion including interior as well. You will see him here on Saturdays and at all of our Track Events. He can align anything you throw at him and likely make it into a winning Autox, TT or Road Race Car. He has won several Auto-x Championships as well. NASA and MSNE track and auto-x events are his home. |
Ray S- Weekend TechRay recently turned from client and friend to employee here at AZP. We had a need for extra help on the weekends and he jumped on the opportunity to join the team. He attended the PRI Racing Trade Show with us this year and will be joining us at NASA and AZP Track Events this year. His BRZ is immaculate and not only a looker but a well sorted out machine! |

Mike P- Founder and PresidentMike founded AZP in late 2000 (see history page) and has kept it running through thick and thin for over 20 years. Often times going into his own pocket to make sure things run smoothly. His knowledge of the Subaru platforms, history and acquaintances at SOA allow him to answer lots of questions on the fly regarding your Subarus. With a nearly 24×7 presence and involvement, you will likely interact with him via text or e-mail more often than any other method. Customer service, honest answers and reasonable pricing are what differentiates Mike from most owners. Always willing to work with people in terms of pricing, arrangements for pickup and just about anything else. You will quickly become friends with Mike, wether you like it or not! He has owned almost every model of Subaru over the years and when not at AZP he is out there doing HPDE or Road Racing with NASA in both Northeast and Florida Regions. |
